MANCHESTER UNITED VS VILLARREAL CHAMPIONS LEAGUE CRISTIANO RONALDO BECOMES HERO FOR MANCHESTER UNITED WIN
Manchester United won a dramatic victory against Villarreal in the Champions League. The Red Devils won 2-1, with the winning goal by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Villarreal scored first through Paco Alcacer in the 53rd minute. Man Utd hit back six minutes later via Alex Telles' goal.

Man Utd threatened again in the six minutes later. Geronimo Rulli's long-range kick ball can still be secured by Paul Pogba.
Alberto Moreno almost scored an own goal due to his mistake in anticipating Pogba's cross. The ball slid to the side of the Villarreal goal
Neither team could score a goal until halftime. The first half closed with a score of 0-0 glasses.

Villarreal broke the deadlock eight minutes into the second half. Alcacer listed his name on the scoreboard.
The Villarreal striker poured Danjuma's bait ball in front of the Man Utd goal without De Gea is able to stop it. The Yellow Submarine lead 1-0.

Man Utd equalized in the 59th minute. Alex Telles greeted Bruno Fernandes' free-kick with a first-time shot that slid into the Villarreal goal.
Man Utd pounded Villarreal's back line to add goals. Edison Cavani almost doubled the lead with a header in the 79th minute. The ball still hasn't hit the target.
Villarreal almost scored a second goal in the 85th minute. Boulaye Dia's header in the penalty box can be thwarted by De Gea.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored Man Utd's winner from a tight angle in the dying minutes of injury time. The hosts closed the game with a 2-1 win.
