SEVEN-STAR PLAYERS WHO WILL BE FREE IN THE SUMMER OF 2022

Several top players decided to move clubs this summer on a free transfer. Among them are Gianluigi Donnarumma and Lionel Messi.
Donnarumma decided to leave AC Milan after not extending his contract, as did Messi. Both moved to the same team: Paris Saint-Germain.
There are several other players who will be free transfers in 2022. Here are some of them:
1. Gareth Bale
The first list of free players in 2022 is Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale. His contract at the Santiago Bernabeu will expire in June 2022.
Bale has defended Los Blancos since 2013. However, he was loaned out in the 2020/21 season to Tottenham Hotspur. During his time with Madrid, Bale scored 106 goals and 66 assists from 254 appearances.
2. Angel Di Maria
Just like Bale, Angel Di Maria's contract will expire in June next year. The Argentine winger has joined Paris Saint-Germain since 2015.
Di Maria's contribution during his stay in Paris was quite significant. He made 269 appearances across competitions scoring 89 goals and 112 assists.
3. Alexandre Lacazette
Arsenal signed Lacazette from Olympique Lyon in the summer of 2017. Until now there has been no news about a new contract from Arsenal, even though the duration of Lacazette's contract will expire in June 2022.
Lacazette's contribution as an Arsenal striker over the last four seasons is quite slick with a total of 129 goals and 43 assists from 275 matches across competitions.
4. Luis Suarez
His age may not be young anymore, Luis Suarez will be 35 years old when his contract expires in June 2022 with Atletico Madrid.
However, a number of clubs are believed to be still interested in using the services of the Uruguayan. His performance is still sharp with Atletico by scoring 25 goals from 47 matches.
5. Ousmane Dembele
Dembele's career when he decided to move from Borussia Dortmund to Barcelona in 2017 did not go well. In fact, at that time the price reached 135 million euros.
Injuries make Dembele miss many opportunities. He only scored 30 goals and 21 assists from 118 appearances. There has been no recent news about his contract, which will expire next year.
6. Paulo Dybala
Dybala also has the potential to become a free player in 2022. His contract with Juventus will expire in June 2022.

7. Kylian Mbappe
The last name is very often associated with Real Madrid. Mbappe in the last few seasons has always been rumored to be moving to the Spanish capital club.
